Squirrels' Delight

The walnut trees in the hollow are loaded with nuts this year. I have never seen them so heavy. Unless we get a hard windstorm through the area, the squirrels will have no problem finding food to store for the winter. They are already cutting the nuts from the trees for snacks. It is funny to see one crawl out on a shaky limb and come back to a sturdier branch to eat.

These nuts are on a tree in my front yard. I had to trim several trees because the branches were hanging too low to mow under.
