Maybe, Maybe Not
I can't believe it has been so long since I blogged. Life got busy and the days have just flown by. But I didn't have to work this morning. I slept in. The cats didn't start complaining until around seven. Usually they get me up earlier.
I can already tell that this day is going to be piddled away. I am not feeling motivated to do much of anything, even though there is a pile of work waiting for me. I think I will finish the book I have been reading. The only pleasure reading I have been doing is right before turning out the light at night, and most nights that was not very long. I even fell asleep with the light still on a couple of times.
It's a good day for staying inside. It is still cold here, though not as cold as it was the first part of the week. Snow flurries are predicted for later. There is still a lot of icy snow from last week left in the shady spots here in the hollow. It will take some really warm weather for it to melt.
I am not complaining about the cold at all. The temperatures are where they ought to be this time of year. Hopefully, it will stay that way long enough to kill off some of the insect population. Mosquitoes were swarming in that really warm spell we had a few weeks ago.
It's time to shower and dress. Maybe that will give me a jumpstart. I might be back with another post later, but then I might not. That should give you some idea about the kind of day this is going to be. <grin>
