I Am Determined to Post Today

What happened to September? It just went flying by in the wink of an eye. I know being very busy is part of it. Time does seem to go faster when you stay busy.

The fall session at work is well underway. All my classes have started back as of Friday. Yes, I have to work Fridays this session. It means no three day weekends, but that is just the way things worked out. I will have another day off during the week, but it won't be quite the same.

I spent the morning making new desktop wallpaper for October. The first thing I knew, it was noon and I was still in my bathrobe. I so lose track of time when I start playing around in Paint Shop Pro. I have been taking a PSP class for several weeks now. The lessons so far have been really basic, but it is going to be a good review.

Most of my PSP knowledge is from the classes I took for version 8. These lessons are for version 10 which I basically figured out myself. So the possibility exists that there is something I don't know. And there may be another way to accomplish something that is better than the way I do it. I am sure it will get better as the lessons get more difficult. This group seems heavy into making frames around everything and in tubes, which don't appeal to me much. But you can learn from a tutorial even if you aren't crazy about the end product.

I have tried other Yahoo groups for PSP before which I had to stop because my pokey old dialup choked on emails with huge attachments. But for this group I am able to set the mail to digest which stops all the huge emails. The digest wipes the attachments. I might change the settings as time goes on. They do have restricted sizes on homework graphics and everyone should have mastered that by the next set of lessons.

In case you are wondering, I have not given up on Photoshop. I need to get back on my tut schedule, but time has been short due to other things. Now that I am getting back into a routine and yardwork is slowing down, I should have more time. The long nights will be back soon. I spend a lot of time here at this desk once that happens.

It's time to get back to work. I still have my prep to do for this week's classes. I should have started it hours ago.
